Note: If you're preparing a noodle soup and want a thicker broth, you can prepare these noodles directly in the broth itself. The soup will have thicker consistency. If using this method, be careful it will be REALLY HOT.
- Bring a pot with water to a rolling boil.
- Put your dehydrated noodles into a noodle strainer if using and then submerge in the boiling water water. If not using a noodle strainer, then put noodles directly in water. Gently stir the noodles to break apart the noodle nest. The dehydrated noodles may take a while to separate.
- Boil for 3 minutes 30 seconds for al dente OR 4 minutes for a softer noodle. Do not overcook.
OPTIONAL: For an even chewier noodle, rinse the noodles under cold water to stop the cooking. - Transfer to soup or sauce and enjoy!
OPTIONAL: If using one of our soup powders, add 2 cups of water to the same pot you used to boil the noodles. Bring the water to a boil and dump in the seasoning powder. Stir to dissolve. Then add your noodles and enjoy!
