Every once in a while, TikTok drops a ramen trend that actually deserves a spotlight. Sprite ramen started as a joke, but the combo of citrusy soda, heat, vinegar, and aromatics turned out to be an insanely refreshing cold noodle dish — almost like a playful, lo-fi cousin of Korean naengmyeon.
This version uses the seasoning packet from KYUNU’s Chicken Black Garlic Ramen for real umami and depth.
A fun bonus: one 16oz bottle of lemon-lime soda makes two snack size bowls or one large bowl, so you can split the KYUNU packet in half for two snack-size servings.
Ingredients (1–2 servings)

1 pouch KYUNU OG Chicken Black Garlic Ramen Noodles

Use ½ of the seasoning packet per bowl if making two small servings

½–¾ cup cold, sugar-free lemon-lime soda per bowl

2 tsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp black vinegar (or more to taste)

2–3 tbsp neutral oil

1–2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1–2 scallions, thinly sliced

2–5 tbsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru, adjust to your spice tolerance)

1–2 tsp sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning

Juice of ÂĽ lemon or lime (optional but recommended)

Ice cubes

Optional heat boosters: pinch of cayenne, sliced Thai chilis

Optional garnishes: shiso leaf, citrus slices, extra scallions, julienned cucumbers, boiled egg.Â
Instructions
1. Make your chili oil
Heat the oil on medium until hot, but not smoking.
In a heat-safe bowl, add:

½ of the KYUNU seasoning packet per bowl
Pour the hot oil over everything and stir.
Add cayenne or Thai chilis if you like it extra spicy.
2. Build the cold broth
Pour in the cold lemon-lime soda.
Add soy sauce and black vinegar.
Finish with a couple squeezes of lemon or lime for brightness.
3. Cook and chill the noodles
Boil noodles for 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
Transfer immediately to an ice bath to stop the cooking, firm up the texture, and cool the noodles.Â
4. Assemble
Drain well, then add the noodles to your cold broth.
Add a handful of ice to keep everything frosty.
Top with shiso, citrus slices, or more scallions.
